Dr. Werner Langsteger

Specialist in nuclear medicine, court-certified expert witness, and Managing Director of Theranosticum Vienna.

Dr. Werner Langsteger is a specialist in nuclear medicine and internal medicine with many years of clinical and scientific experience in molecular imaging and theranostic approaches in prostate cancer.

Following his medical studies, he specialized early in nuclear medicine and worked for many years at leading nuclear medicine institutions in Austria. A particular focus of his clinical work has been PET/CT diagnostics, the advancement of tracer-based imaging techniques, and the evaluation of oncological conditions.

In parallel with his clinical work, Dr. Langsteger has been actively involved in research and has contributed to numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals, particularly in the fields of PSMA-based PET imaging, the detection of metastases, and the development of modern nuclear medicine procedures.

As co-founder and director of Theranosticum Vienna, Dr. Langsteger brings together his expertise in clinical practice, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a specialized center focused on precise diagnostics and individually tailored therapies, particularly for prostate cancer and neuroendocrine tumors.
